The Engagement Equation Masterclass is based on the book by the same name from Dr. Corey Pruitt.
This highly interactive experience with Dr. Pruitt goes beyond theory, guiding participants to explore the why behind motivation, performance, and retention through actionable strategies and reflective discussion. By tapping into the deeper needs that drive human behavior at work, leaders will learn to foster cultures where people feel connected, empowered, and committed to organizational success.
Through real-world examples, evidence-based frameworks, and collaborative application, leaders will strengthen their ability to inspire sustainable engagement—one conversation, one policy, one mindset shift at a time.
Program Objectives
By the end of this masterclass, participants will be able to:
- Articulate the difference between surface-level engagement tactics and psychologically-driven engagement strategies.
- Analyze the five core psychological drivers of engagement—Autonomy, Relatedness, Competence, Recognition, and Growth—and their influence on employee behavior.
- Identify engagement barriers unique to hybrid and post-pandemic workplace environments.
- Apply practical frameworks to assess and support employee engagement across diverse teams.
- Design strategies and interventions that cultivate a culture of intrinsic motivation and psychological safety.
- Integrate the Engagement Equation into leadership communication, recognition practices, development planning, and performance management.
Participant Expectations:
This program will require your commitment to participate in all the activities, assignments, discussions, and presentations. The journey includes:
- 2 days - 3-hours each day (8am to 11am Pacific)
